Spring Planting

Spring is a wonderful time of year. In Colorado it can be very challenging as Mother Nature is not always kind.  A good rule of thumb is that Mother’s Day is the average start date to plant many annuals outside.  There are early season vegetables and annuals you can plant as early as March such as onion sets, lettuce, spinach, broccoli pansies, snapdragon to name a few.  You can start seeds inside such as tomatoes, peppers and many herbs inside.
