Betsy
Community Outreach

Family and friends are most important to me in life. I've learned that money and opportunities come and go, but your friends and family are always there to help you when you need it. I hope one day I can pass down those qualities to a family of my own, and it's why I work so hard today.

about jared's nursery gift & garden

Jared’s is a family owned and operated Nursery, Gift and Garden Center since 1979. We have grown from a 5 acres garden center to one that now covers 25 acres with a variety of products from flowers, perennials, Koi and gifts, trees, jewelry, and candles. We host classes February through April on site to help the new gardener or even new bee keepers.

We strive for great customer service and reasonable pricing, with new varieties of veggies, flowers and perennials every year and of course organic veggies and seeds. We are a host site for a CSA, a giant pumpkin festival and one of the largest Easter Egg Hunts in Jefferson County.

Our staff is knowledgeable and care about not only the plants you’re a buying from us, but the ones at your house that may need some extra care. We understand the difficulties of our climate, the different soils, changing weather and if you want to garden using only organics or some synthetics.

We carry a large variety of organic fertilizers, soils and composts along with decorative mulch and bark. If you want large quantities of soil or mulch we offer bulk rock, mulch and composts along with pavestone and flagstone.

Stop in and see one of our experts in our pond department, tree and shrub department or our annuals and veggie area. Bring a sample of a plant in trouble, a bug you caught or just ask us questions and let us be your gardening experts.
